“Leticia Balle was given a portrait of an ancestor of mine, thought to have been painted in the late 1770’s by a portrait specialist. The canvas was obviously old and needed to be thoroughly cleaned. The man was wearing a suit of armour, a long wig and a ruffled lace collar for this portrait. Leticia cleaned the picture meticulously and by doing this was able to bring the man to life and improve his image well. It hangs in our dining room and has received many kind comments. I would not hesitate to recommend her work to anyone wanting the same attention to an antique of this era and gladly pass on my appreciation of her attention to detail and the friendly manner to work with.
